Castle CDJR Naperville was proud to sponsor the Naperville Area Humane Society's annual Run Your Mutt Off 5K Walk/Run, held on Saturday, June 13 at St. James Farm Forest Preserve in Warrenville, Illinois. This dogfriendly, familyfocused event brought together runners, walkers, pet owners, and local businesses to support homeless pets and promote animal welfare in the greater Naperville community.

Run Your Mutt Off features a 3.1mile course designed for all ages and fitness levels, with many participants choosing to walk or jog alongside their dogs. The morning offered a mix of fitness, fun, and philanthropy as attendees enjoyed the scenic forest preserve, connected with other animal lovers, and learned more about how their participation directly supports local dogs and cats in need.

## Castle CDJR Naperville's Involvement

As an event sponsor, Castle Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Dealership in Naperville hosted an interactive booth showcasing a Jeep Wrangler, an ideal vehicle for pet owners and adventureseekers who love hitting the road with their fourlegged companions. Throughout the event, our team welcomed attendees, shared information about our dealership, and joined in the festivities.

To add to the fun, we hosted a prize wheel where participants could win Jeep ducks, branded dog bowls, dog bandanas, and one of five complimentary oil changes. These giveaways were a small way to thank the community for showing up, supporting the cause, and helping raise critical funds for the Naperville Area Humane Society. Our team truly enjoyed meeting fellow animal lovers, hearing stories about adopted pets, and celebrating the shared commitment to giving animals a second chance.

## About Naperville Area Humane Society

Naperville Area Humane Society (NAHS) is a nonprofit, limitedadmission animal shelter dedicated to promoting the humane treatment of companion animals and creating lasting humananimal bonds. The organization focuses on rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs and cats, while also providing education and resources to the community.

NAHS can house dozens of dogs and cats at any given time and provides each animal with shelter, medical care, behavioral support, and enrichment while they wait for adoption. Beyond adoptions and foster programs, NAHS offers humane education classes and camps, pet therapy initiatives, training support, and a pet pantry to help local families care for their animals during difficult times. Events like Run Your Mutt Off play a vital role in funding these services and raising awareness about responsible pet ownership and the ongoing need for community support.

## Community Impact and Commitment

Run Your Mutt Off is more than a race; it is a key fundraising and awareness event that helps NAHS continue its lifesaving work. By bringing together local residents, businesses, and animal advocates, the event strengthens community ties and highlights the importance of supporting shelters that provide second chances for dogs and cats.

At Castle CDJR Naperville, we believe that being a good neighbor means actively supporting organizations that make a meaningful difference. Our partnership with the Naperville Area Humane Society reflects our commitment to giving back to the communities we serve in Naperville, Aurora, and the surrounding areas. We are honored to have been part of this year's Run Your Mutt Off 5K and look forward to future opportunities to support animal welfare and communityfocused events.
